Your feedback will be added in the next article! (see end of article) Community version for the win!
Some people only seem to care about numbers. Watchers/llamas/views/ the like. Those are important and lovely, but not just by them self.
Here are a few simple ways to get more involved with the community.
- Go join a group! Explore :devgroups: So many to chose from!
Consider volunteering for that group, helping moderate it, welcoming new people. If you are looking for a particular group, I have written a small guide
2.Forums- Go and say something positive to a fellow deviant and make their day! forum But do not be a troll. You won't really gain anything out of that.
3.Feature Random/under appreciated people in your journal!

All Snapped Up .6 ~ WojciechDziadosz~ An interview of a talented artist in our General Photography Community
Tell us a bit about yourself, WojciechDziadosz! How did you get into photography and why?
With photography I had to do when I was a little boy.
My father let me take pictures on our trips. Then it was gone, but over five years ago, it came back and continues to this day. It taught me to express in some way, and above all, it gives me satisfaction.
Why are you on deviantART? What do you most like and dislike about it?
I signed up to dA almost five years ago. I never thought that when I got to that level at which I am now that my work would be on the main page in the "popular 24" section. It made an enormous impression on me and gave me inspiration.
I like the availability of my work so that thousands of people can see them.
Today I do not like how the dA level prevails here. Everywhere, cats, ponies, anBack to Basics Photography - CompositionLately I've seen quite a few photos that have potential, but need some work. Composition is one of the most important parts to taking any photo (and making any piece of art really) and so I thought I'd share a few basic rules and tips. The word composition simply means 'putting together' and so, with any piece of art, it's how the piece is put together. With a bit of practice while keeping these tips in mind, you can create a more impacting, pleasing to the eye piece of work that will draw the viewer in and keep them interesting.
You could crop your images afterwards when you get them onto the computer, but it'd be lovely to have a great image right off the boot, right? By keeping in mind the things below, you'll be well on your way to taking better photos. And don't forget, it's always better to know the rules before you start break them A few tips before we start;
Look around using the viewfinder every time you take a picture.
Look at each element and how it impacts the overall co- Give something special. Tell someone they are awesome in a special way. Buy a gift Llamas are free, while premiums, points, and cake badges are not. You can also grant a wish and buy some devgear or a print that they had an eye out for.
5. Commissioning others in need is always a great thing to do! You can also buy prints from artists in need. Or participate in a community based kind act.
6. Comment constructively and kindly on works, or provide a nice critique! Feedback is how we all grow as artists. Spamming short comments doesn't really count, though. I have written a guide on constructive feedback. PE: Giving and Receiving Quality Feedback
7. Draw something for someone! May it be their profile page, or forum, dAmuro drawings can make someone's day!
^ look at all the colors and tools! Brushes aren't shown, but there are many!
8. Write a tutorial sharing your skills. Some of my recent favourites:

^ Go hug phoenixleo after watching! (the other two are clickable fave them.
9. Be active and involved, kind and friendly.
10. Even though this is small, and usually is more special if you combine with constructive feedback and interactions, it makes people happy.
