I thought you held lightning in your mind.
Your thoughts, that could dance across a shattered glass sky,
were, in the end, locked down in a clear jar.
Inside, you struggled to free yourself from your own thoughts.
You no longer spoke in one sixty mile per hour winds, instead
you ran from the growing storm inside of you.
Through the darkness, your light would still flash when you saw me.
Your heart still hummed in flight, even though you couldn't reach me.
I only realized, too late, that I was the storm and you
were the storm chaser
and I had left you destroyed in my wake.
After that, I realized only your lightning filled my dreams.

Appreciation for kindness received #19"Perhaps the most tragic thing about mankind is that we are all dreaming about some magical garden over the horizon, instead of enjoying the roses that are right outside today"Appreciation for kindness received #19 by awesome43

Want to be involved?Want to be involved? by Gingersanps
It has been up for quite some time, and they need more people. I want to do it, but I don't know if I'd be a good mentor.
On the other hand, its for all of dA not just the writing community. Some of you friends of mine, think about it. Most of you had been here a long time. You could probably help somebody else out or you could ask for help. I've learned there is so much more to dA than meets the eye.
I want to see this really work. I'm still indecisive about what I'm going to do about it. You don't have to be. Take a look, make a decision, join.
It might change your life on dA.

I know some of you like the effect, but here's the deal: do whatever you want on your own monitor and keep your hands off mine.
Did you know that, in Windows, holding Ctrl and moving the scroll wheel up or down changes font size? You do now, and it's not much harder to change zoom size on a Mac (I hear it is most likely cmd++ or cmd+- , cmd+0 reverts it to the original size). I know it's just as easy in Linux, anyway.
I already have my browser's text size display set to what I want, thank you very much.
Anyone who uses Word must be familiar with the concept of font size in points: 12pt Times New Roman, especially, when it comes to turning in essays for teachers. (And 13pt periods for those of you who couldn't hit that minimum page count )
Well, here's the deal: Web display doesn't work quite the same way. You can force all text to be 16
